The Halo App (Android and iOS) is excited to announce a new community established to provide financial support for veterans. The “Hero Fund” community will provide low fee loans from $100 — $1000 to veterans in need. There are nearly 20 million veterans that are currently serving or have served our country. For centuries, women and men have risked their lives to protect our many freedoms. Today, nearly 2 million of our heroes live below the poverty line and vets all over use predatory payday lending services at rates 3x higher than civilians.

According to The Balance, anyone who borrows $500 from a payday loan center will repay, on average, a total of $1700 ($500 borrowed + $1200 in fees). The Halo App is a product of Halo Lending whose mission is to create a new economy where people invest in people. For more information on how to get a loan or fund a loan please click here.
